Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the first moments in her life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She earned a Bachelors in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in the civil ceremony on took place in December. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast as the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their top television couple. Entertainment Television.
